Since its opening in February 2011 the Wine Bar & Bistro has been a quiet haven from the hustle and bustle of the Portofino Boardwalk on Pensacola Beach. Patrons discover that they can savor not only the food and wine but also the conversation as the staff enhances the experience by providing impeccable service and helping make every dining occasion memorable.
In 2013 after the restaurant connected to natural gas from Gulf Breeze Natural Gas, they invested in the commercial cooking equipment that has made it possible to create the great dishes that keep patrons coming back time and time again. The menu has been crafted to showcase the extensive wine and beverage selection while each dish also delights the palate in its own right. The Wine Bar’s cuisine is heavily influenced by world flavors and recreates them into inviting, comfort food. They use locally sourced foods and only the freshest ingredients.
From starters such a Pesto Chevre Bruschetta and Mixed Berry Baby Spinach Salad, to small plates like Lamb Lollipops and Deconstructed Chowder Crab Cake, to entrees including Mussels with Linguini and Petite Filet and irresistible deserts such as Port Wine Peach Crepes, everything is executed to perfection.
And then, of course, there are the wines. The Wine Bar offers the largest variety selection on Pensacola Beach, selected from some of the best small production and boutique wineries around the world. Each menu item has a wine partner to enhance and delight the palate as their culinary and wine teams work together to create a truly symbiotic menu for guests’ dining enjoyment. They invite you to discover a new wine and bring it home and offer a 10% discount on cases. 
For patrons who enjoy beers the Wine Bar thoughtfully procures the best from unique breweries and micro-breweries from around the country, especially those in and around the area, from locally-based Pensacola Bay Brewery to Swamp Head Brewery in Gainesville. International and domestic staples are also always on the menu. Servers are pleased to enhance the dining experience and help guests pair a unique beer to complement an appetizer or entrée.
The Wine Bar & Bistro is open Monday through Thursday 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Friday through Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. with wine tastings held every Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
